Would you die for love?

John 12:24- "I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." In marriage, two are to become one. Two strong willed,  able bodied individuals are to put down their own self-serving agendas and come up with a plan of action that allows them to work together to produce, multiply and birth good fruit. (seeds) (deeds) ... How can goals be achieved if one or both partners are not willing to submit to the plan of action or better yet DIE for love? When we are willing to die for love, we are making a decision to see beyond who we are individually. We take a chance on what WE can become in unity! Instead of forcing one way or tradition, we incorporate the two and create a new way of doing things! Marriage is God's plan by design and the plan has everything to do with humility and love. By these simple acts of kindness we birth stronger families and build greater communities. Death to one selfish thought can breathe life into many new thoughts! May the Lord God bless you and keep you. May he make his beautiful face to shine upon you. May you reach for his hand when you feel weak and unable to go on.
