Hi there Peace Seekers! It's day 1 of our month long campaign #loveme2Peace! We're focusing on self-love and self-care in an effort to create more peaceful opportunities in our lives. As we all know life can be hectic and full of surprises but I believe there are intentional actions that we can take to help us get focused and be clear about the things that we want to manifest in our lives. Many people, especially women have the false belief that taking care of yourself is a selfish thing. That is so far from the truth, we have to take care of ourselves in order to take care of the one's that we love, so we're making history in March by "loving ourselves to a peaceful state of mind."
Today's tip:Â "Begin each day with an attitude of gratitude."
It may sound easy enough but truth be told, sometimes it's hard to be grateful and give thanks. As free spirits our minds tend to focus on negativity and we forget about all the good things that we have going on. I love to find a quote or scripture that screams gratitude to me. Psalm 145:8 is one of those scriptures. "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love." I am so thankful for the graciousness and compassion of God. With all the blunders, mistakes and bad choices that I've made in my life, thank goodness God is slow to anger and never gets weary of sending us love.
