Oh how Exciting!

Today I got my wristband! Oh how exciting! I am a huge fan of Beth Moore. Beth Moore is a bible study teacher based in Texas.  She has written various best-selling bible study series and books. Nearly 7 months ago, I found out that she was coming to town! Let me explain to you how big this is for me. I got married 7 months ago, so around about the time that I was walking down the aisle, I was planning my Beth Moore experience too! Man did my heart dance when I discovered that this teacher and author who experiences her own special encounters with God, such as my own, was coming to town!  Several years ago, I was going through an extensive cleansing exercise with God. He had me on a mission to put a voice to some of the things that I had experienced in my past. One afternoon as I was reading the newspaper, I saw an ad in the Church section. A local church was offering one of Beth’s classes and the only requirement was to purchase the workbook. Let me tell you, when I walked into the Lifeway store and saw all the resource material, I was in love! I didn’t even know you could purchase a workbook for a bible study class. I had no idea things like that existed. My first touch of that workbook “A Woman’s Heart, God’s Dwelling Place,” was sacred to me. I had great expectation and I knew without a shadow of a doubt that God was calling me into something big! Years later and many workbooks later, I still have a special bond to my first. I’ve taught the class to other thirsty women and I use it as a reference in my daily life. The study is a journey through the book of Exodus, it outlines God’s perfect plan for redemption, after Eden. I love it, I love it, I love it! I challenge you to recall your first’s with God. The first time he presented himself to you or helped you feel comfortable with who he designed you to be. Remember it and walk in it. Allow it to move you to your next phase in life.
