Proverbs 24: 3-4 (NIV) 3 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. The Webster’s dictionary definition of the word house as a verb is: to provide with or take shelter. As children of God, individually we are temples that hold God’s Holy Spirit. Out of His undying love, God pursued us in an attempt to have communication and fellowship with us. This was not done because he was lonely; it was done because He is love! By yielding to God’s advances, we gain unlimited benefits such as: being filled with His Holy Spirit that provides comfort in our times of need, we are covered by the blood of Christ that promises we are healed in our times of sickness and we are guaranteed eternal life in Heaven in the Presence of an almighty God, which says there will be no more sorrow and no more tears! From where I stand, these benefits sound like rare and beautiful treasures. God, I say thank you! Thank you for never leaving me to my own understanding of you. In Jesus Name, Amen!
