Grace

Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people.  Amen (NIV) In a quiet moment God asked, "what does the last scripture of my word reveal to you?" I jumped up and grabbed my bible and saw it just as plain as day. "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people." As I wondered why he lead me to that verse, he whispered because the first shall be last and the last shall be first. So in the beginning the earth was dark and without form (Genesis 1) BUT, the grace of the Lord Jesus was with God's people. God knew that we needed the grace before he even formed this world. God's grace displays his unfailing love, His grace gives us hope and motivation to hold on and see what the end will be!  God's grace parted the Red Sea (Exodus 13), His grace anointed a young boy named David as he tended to his sheep (Samuel 16), His grace allowed Esther to find favor with her King (Esther 5) and His grace caused a humble servant named Mary to believe what the angel spoke to her (Luke 1).    All the sacrifices of the ancient days, the idols and judges, the battles and stonings, they all equate to the modern-day, trying to fit in and conform with society, the judgement of others and the constant issues that we find ourselves dealing with daily. All of these require God's grace. Take a moment to thank God for His grace, without it we are nothing, with it we are everything in him. God's grace allows us to leave a place of religious restrictions and rituals and move freely into a place of praise and thanksgiving! Thank God for his grace! Much Love, Mrs. Misenheimer
