Pentecost Deuteronomy 16: 10 Then celebrate the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name- The Feast of Pentecost is one of God's chosen days to meet with him. He set aside three special occasions for His people to meet with Him and experience divine release in their life. Today at sundown, Pentecost begins and lasts until sundown tomorrow. In the Old Testament, the Israelites were commanded to rejoice in the Lord for their freedom from 400 years of Egyptian captivity. By doing so, they placed their entire family in position to receive a miraculous blessing from God. In the New Testament, Pentecost represents the release of The Holy Spirit to thousands of believers! Fifty days after the resurrection of Christ, believers from many nations were gathered together in one place, as Peter professed a mighty word, thousands became filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues. This was a miraculous blessing from God! Now it is your turn! You are in a pivotal moment in time. God wants to meet with and release his miraculous blessing in this season of your life. The only requirement is to acknowledge him on his divine day. He wants you to recall the countless ways that he has blessed you and your family this year. He wants you to rejoice in His goodness and give thanks for it. The required offering is a freewill offering. Simply say "God I freely give myself away to you" and it is done. The highest offering of anything is to become it! Acknowledgement is the key and since we are filled with the Holy Spirit you can stop whatever you are doing and give Him a right now praise! If by chance you have not received the Lord Jesus as your personal savior, simply follow these steps: Become a Christian: Step through the Gospel First, you can be sure that God loves you unconditionally and desires to have a personal relationship with you. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). Second, you need to admit your sinful nature to God, because this is what separates all of us from Him. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). Third, you should stop trying to please God through your own efforts, and realize that salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is a gift that none of us deserves. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). Finally, you just need to step in and truly accept God’s gift -- His Son, Jesus Christ. I hope you take time to meet with God today, he's waiting on you!
