Confidence

Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.   (NIV) Remain confident that God will finish every good work that he has started in you. Juggling multiple task and responsibilities or even carrying a heavy burden can often leave you feeling exhausted and in need of a break. In these moments it is important to remember that you will complete your task, but it will not happen in your own strength. I am my biggest critic. I often criticize myself for mistakes or shortcomings that I know exist. When I really get beside myself, I wallow in it for a day or two. Without the word of God, I would have no hope, but with His word, I have confidence. I have confidence that he began a good work in me and will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. When I feel that I am falling short as a wife or mother, I remind myself that God is working it out. When I feel that I cannot possibly complete all of my school assignments, I trust that God is working it out. Even when I feel that I am not worthy of all the love that God shows me each and every moment of my life, I trust Him and believe that he is working it out! In everything that I am and all that I do, I trust that God is working it out and that he will see it through to completion. May your day be filled with confidence in God! Much Love, Mrs. Misenheimer
