Because He Lives!

Matthew 28:5-The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, he has risen, just as he said. If Jesus had not risen from the grave, we would be doomed to a life of darkness, sin, inequity and death. If Jesus still lay in the tomb, there would be no hope for humanity and no pardon for sin. Jesus could have stayed in his tomb and not even bothered to give this sin-sick world another thought....But He Rose! Because Jesus rose from the grave, we have power over death, darkness and sin. Because Jesus rose, as believers in him and his ministry, we have been positioned to rise above the enemy. Because Jesus rose, we have full confidence that grace and mercy chase after us! The Word of God says...Jesus is able to keep us from falling and to present us before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy! In the tomb, there is no glory, no presence and no joy, only darkness.  In Jesus, there is love, forgiveness of sin and miracles forever more! Jesus rose for me and for you, celebrate him on this Holy Easter Day!
